The map is based on that shown in David Sharpe’s book ‘A Brief History of the Morley Textile Industry: 1750-1900’ published by Morley Local History Society in 1968. However, 14 more mills and dyeworks are shown to describe the textile industry up to the late 20th Century.
The locations of the Cobden Mill (11) and the Spout Well Mill (46) are not known.
