- We’ve started to write blogs for Inns and Public Houses in each of the old Morley Borough districts. To date we’ve added these for the Drighlington and Churwell districts. Links have been put into the sections so that access to the blogs is simple.
2. The section on the Morley Mining Industry has now been added to the site. It gives details of the most important mines in the area when Coal Mining was King along with the Families who controlled the businesses. A link has also been made to the fine book by Jim Thorp on the Morley Mining Industry
3. We’ve added links in the Inns and Public Houses section to the blogs for Bruntcliffe, East Ardsley, Morley and West Ardsley districts.
